A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>15<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>16<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">A light in its natural form is caused to flame by 3 sources:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The oil, the substance that is burned, the spirit of the Lord<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">A light does not continue without a substance to continue it. The immediate desire to obey will not continue without a continuing presence of God. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Leviticus 14:25-32<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>25<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>26<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>27<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>28<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>29<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] And the rest of the oil that is in the priest&#8217;s hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>30<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>31<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>32<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The oil of the spirit and blood of Christ cannot be separate!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The flame, the source that ignites the oil, the burning fire of the Holy Ghost<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">A light may have the proper amount of substance to burn but without a firestarting source it cannot begin. Without an abundance of the Holy Ghost the spirit within you cannot come alive and consume your life.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Isaiah 50:7-11<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>7<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>8<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>9<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>10<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>11<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The worlds \u2018sparks\u2019 will go out eventually, leaving the comforts that they bring to fade quickly.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The light burns when the oil and flame are joined together. As the Holy Ghost produces the fire and the spirit brings the oil, there must be something to combine it or mix it: a willing heart and a made up mind.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">So what (or should we say who) is the vessel that this substance is held in? You!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Leviticus 6:9-13<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>9<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>10<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>11<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>12<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>13<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">] The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Always remember that the flame of God is to consume your sins, not to condone it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Listen To: What Makes The Fire That Burns In You Matthew 5:14-16 [14] Ye are the light of the world.
