he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>7<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">] But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">We begin at the early morning walk to the tomb<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">3 women were coming bringing spices<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">They were coming to do the work of undertakers<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">They worried about moving the stone at the tomb<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Unbelief is fertile ground for worrying<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">There was no need to worry<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">When they arrived it was already rolled away<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The 3 were commissioned by an angel<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">They were to put away their fears: Christ was alive!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">They were to tell the disciples Christ had risen<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">They were to be sure to tell Peter<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">So why did Peter had to be told?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Peter needed to know that he was not forsaken<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> &#8211; Mark (14:22-72)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Jesus had prepared His disciples for what was ahead<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The crucifixion<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The persecution<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">and His resurrection<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Peter vowed to never be offended, but broke the vow<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">He needed to know that Jesus still loved him<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">He needed to know that Jesus had kept this vow<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">To fail does not make one a lifelong failure<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">God&#8217;s love reaches out to those who have failed<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The cross and the resurrection guarantee that love<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Peter needed to know that he had been forgiven<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">He had followed Jesus from afar<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">He had mingled with the enemies of the Lord<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">He had warmed himself by the wrong fire<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">He had denied the lord three times<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">He didn&#8217;t want to be identified with Jesus<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Cursed and swore while denying he knew Jesus<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">In spite of all of this you still can be forgiven!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Peter was a broken man, without Christ his foundation was unsure<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Luke 6:6-11<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">[<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>6<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">] And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>7<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">] And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>8<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">] But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>9<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">] Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?<br \/>\n[<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>10<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">] And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">His pride was broken (<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">His partnership was broken (<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Luke 6:9-10<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">He left all to follow Jesus (<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Luke 6:11<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, large;\">Now he felt disqualified<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Peter needed to know he still belonged to the lord<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>1 Peter 1:5-8<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span
