One of the most difficult struggles we face as mankind is dealing with ourselves after we fall. It’s not God that struggles with us to get back up again, it is ourselves. To be a victor in Christ means that you have defeated the fear of getting back up again. It means that once you are standing again that you learn from it and use it to establish you. To ever begin your change you must take the first step to start over.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

Proverbs 24:16<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/h1>\n

<\/a> 16\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span>For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

People have failed and still found a way to be successful. Abraham, Noah, Moses, Isaac, Jacob, David and Peter to name a few.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Psalm 37:23-24<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/a> 23\u00a0<\/b>The steps of a good man are ordered by the\u00a0Lord: and he delighteth in his way.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 24\u00a0<\/b>Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the\u00a0Lord\u00a0upholdeth him with his hand.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 10:12<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1) Rest assured, God is interested in you, even when you have fallen<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Psalm 145:14<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 14\u00a0<\/b>The\u00a0Lord\u00a0upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2) If you have fallen, do not lean on your own understanding. Do not rationalize, repent<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Proverbs 3:5-6<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/a> 5\u00a0<\/b>Trust in the\u00a0Lord\u00a0with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 6\u00a0<\/b>In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

James 4:7-8<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/a> 7\u00a0<\/b>Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 8\u00a0<\/b>Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3) Do not shun or shy away from those who can help.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>Ecclesiastes 4:10<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 10\u00a0<\/b>For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Galatians 6:1-2<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/a>6\u00a0Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 2\u00a0<\/b>Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cause remember that if you are drowning, it doesn’t matter what hand is out to you.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4) Do not become discouraged and bitter.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>
\nDetermine to become better by better confession of sin, better prayer time, better commitment, better response to the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Proverbs 3:11<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/a> 11\u00a0<\/b>My son, despise not the chastening of the\u00a0Lord; neither be weary of his correction:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5) Do not listen to the voice of fear, doubt and anger.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>These will lead you deeper in sin and further from God.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Psalm 51:1-8<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/a>51\u00a0Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 2\u00a0<\/b>Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 3\u00a0<\/b>For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 4\u00a0<\/b>Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 5\u00a0<\/b>Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 6\u00a0<\/b>Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> 7\u00a0<\/b>Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
