And they did so.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>5<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>6<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>7<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>8<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>9<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pi-hahiroth, before Baal-zephon.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>10<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>11<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>12<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>13<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>14<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>15<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>16<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>17<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>18<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>19<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>20<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>21<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>22<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>23<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh&#8217;s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>24<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>25<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>26<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>27<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>28<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>29<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>30<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>31<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>Pharaoh brought:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">600 \tchosen chariots<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">All \tof the chariots of Egypt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">The \tcaptains over every one of them<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">All \thorses and chariots<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">His \thorseman and army<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">In other words, he brought the best that he thought that could do the job.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Cornered into the sea, Israel cried out unto the Lord in the wilderness by the sea. Conviction sometimes feels like we\u2019re being cornered when God reveals out faults to us in a greater way. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">If we push forward and cross over all the waves of doubt and fears that stand in the way like an ocean, God will part the waters for you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">God opened a pathway through the Red Sea, and that which was leaving Israel in present bondage was left in the sea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">They came through by the parting of the resistance of the impossible in front of them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Jesus was sent to create a way for us to inherit salvation, pass from death unto life, and to leave our sins and troubles in the sea of forgetfulness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Pillar of cloud was the covering and protection to prevent overwhelming defeat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">God is and brings our separation to the world around us, whether being pursued or not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">The pillar of fire led them through the darkness when they could not see, and gave them the advantage over the enemy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">The strong easy wind blew all night before they stepped out unto dry ground, in other words, sometimes we have to wait on God to perform the miracles before we try ourselves. Imagine them trying to swim the Red Sea themselves!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">1 Corinthians 10:1-5<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>1<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>2<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>3<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And did all eat the same spiritual meat;<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>4<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.<br \/>\n[<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>5<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">] But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Just to put this into perspective about what they crossed on:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">The length was 1,400 miles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">The maximum width is 190-220 miles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">The average depth is 1,600 feet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">To sum this all up: The pillar of cloud separated them in the day from the enemy, and the pillar of fire gave them light in the darkness during the night!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Click Here To Listen To The Audio Exodus 14:1-31 [1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, [2] Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal-zephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.
